Garth Brooks as Chris Gaines!!!
"The Lamb" is a movie about a fictional pop/rock star(Chris Gaines) whose career is chronicled through the '80's and '90's. Gaines' only means of escape from his crushing fame is through death. The movie will be produced by Garth and Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds & Co.
A prequel soundtrack of the movie, called "Garth Brooks-In the Life of Chris Gaines" by Garth, was released on September 28, 1999. There are two versions of this CD, one has a hologram picture on the cover and on the disc itself and the other is a regular CD; both have the same music content. The CD is produced by Don Was, who produced the Hope Floats soundtrack which featured Garth's "To Make You Feel My Love" hit. Since the music from the album will be aimed at the rock radio listeners, there are no plans for country radio singles. (: This promises to be a profound project by Garth, taking on a completely different direction and Garth made numerous television appearances to promote the soundtrack and the movie. It still hasn't been decided as to whether Garth will play the role of Chris in any aspect other than in concert footage in"The Lamb".Alot of us sure hope he does because afterall, Garth IS Chris!
