She was a lovely mare.
Lindy's Baby
A constant companion of fifteen years.
Upon her back CG carried Lindy.
Far away from the heartaches of life.
Transported her
through fields of clover...
forests of redwoods...
majestic mountains.
Asking in return just one thing...
Lindy's love.
Together they rode through the years of life.
Across plains and valleys.
CG's gift was her affection for Lindy.
Lindy's gift is her undying love.
A special bond was formed.
CG bore a filly named Angel.
A special gift for Lindy.
The bond of Motherhood drew them closer.
Last night the Creator called CG back to his side.
In the darkness Lindy heard CG's call.
She raced to the stable finding CG in agony.
Lindy struggled valiantly for hours...
to save her lifelong friends life.
Lindy, in the end performed the ultimate act of love.
On this darkest of nights...
Tears streaming from her eyes...
She dispatched CG to the arms of The Creator.
Godspeed, my dear friend.
