UNIVERSAL INKS DEAL WITH CASH MONEY RECORDS
New York, New York, June 18, 1998 - Universal Records has entered into an exclusive agreement with New Orleans-based Cash Money Records, it was jointly announced today by Universal's President of Black Music Jean Riggins and Cash Money founders Bryan "Baby" Williams and Ronald "Godfather"
Williams.
As part of their agreement, Universal will provide distribution, marketing and promotion Support for Cash Money artists. Initial releases will include Big Tymers, B.G., Juvenile and Lil' Wayne.
