Fazelspitz's Lair
Greetings traveler, and welcome to my lair.
I am Fazelspitz, or as Dragonsong12 insists, Faz, and I am miniature firedrake (you know, miniature, about so big and yea high), and internet traveler.
Dragonsong12 has given me the opportunity (because of what a great guide I've been) to offer a site award on her behalf. I wasn't going to. Frankly, it seems like a lot of work for little gain, but I owe her one and this seems to be an easy way to pay her back.
So, anyway, here's how it all works. You adopt a dragon from my good buddy Dragonsong12, take good care of it, and I come around and hand out awards.
That's it.
No forms to fill out, no guestbook to sign, no real obligations. Many parents are already elegible for this award!
Okay, here's the deal. Once (and only once!) a month, I will check out all the pages that have adopted dragons from the Dragon's Den (this does include the roost!), pick whomever is taking the best care of their dragon(s), and give them my lovely award. I repeat, I am choosing one site per month, so, initially, I will have to overlook sites that are very qualified. (In other words, please don't send me complaints that you haven't recieved this award, I'll get to you eventually)
Next thing, if you had noticed, it does say up there that, in order to win, you must be taking care of your adopted dragons. For those of you who are unsure what I mean by "taking care," the guidelines are below. (I know, I know, everything's gotta have rules, rules, rules)
Item 1 The dragon must be on a webpage. I want to be able to see how it is. Dragonsong12 may let you get away with just a link, but I won't.
Item 2 The dragon's page must be linked to at least one other page and that page must be linked to it. If no one can get to the page, then the dragon is lonely, and that is not taking care of it.
Item 3 It would be a great help if your E-mail address were on any page that I can reach from your dragon's page so that I can E-mail you if you win. (I think that's fair)
~Those above are the "must-haves" in order to win. I don't think they're anything difficult, so if you already have all these things, you're set. However, below are some more guidelines which you don't need to win, but your chances will be much better if you have them.
Item 4 Name your dragon. Nothin' says lovin' like giving your adoptee a name.
Item 5 Give your dragon a personality. Don't make it a nameless picture, give it some style!
Item 6 Make your dragon comfortable in its home. Don't just jam it in the middle of a racing page because you haven't got anything better to do with it. (Acceptable place, on a page with other adopted pets)
Item 7 A link back to the Dragon's Den or the nest would be nice. (note-this will greatly increase your chances. wink, wink) Give the dragon a way back to visit its roots, and visitor a chance to give another dragon a home.
That's about it. Um...along with the general, you know, no nudity or vulgarity (unless I can get in on it too! kidding! kidding!) Get it? Got it? Good.
Now, if you've seen one of those pictures by the names and you want to know what they mean, I'll tell you.
If you see this star it indicates someone who, at some point, has won this award.
If you see my pointing claw this is the page that is the current winner for the month.
