This song is about meeting a past girlfriend/lover who is trying to get the relationship going again, while the singer just wants to reminisce about the past. I envision them as having gone out at night for a drink -- some wine -- and thus “starlit” would refer to being outside somewhere having that drink.
“Save yours”, means “but yours” or “except yours”. This stanza thus refers to the fact that his dreams come from the wine, while hers come from another time -- the past relationship that she is trying to rekindle.
