Firefighter Kenneth Marino

Firefighter Kenneth Marino of Rescue Co. 1 succumbed to injuries sustained while operating at Manhattan 5th Alarm Box 8087 at 2 World Trade Center transmitted at 0847 HRS on September 11th, 2001. Firefighter Marino was appointed to the FDNY on March 25, 1990. He has previously served with Engine 263, Ladder 117 and Rescue Company 4. Kenny was a HUGE fan of Ken Griffey Jr, Alex Rodriguez, and the Seattle Mariners. Kenny loved his job and the members of Rescue 1. FF Gary Geidel gave him the nickname "pockets" because when things were quiet, Kenny's hands would be there. Rest in Eternal Peace Kenny.
