HOLIDAY CHERRY NUT ROLL
INGREDIENT

TO MAKE 3 ROUND
CAKES
( in 13 oz.coffee cans)
or
TO MAKE 2
LOAFS
(in bread
pans)
1-8oz pkg. cream cheese-at
room temp.
1- cup margerine or butter -at
room temp.
1.5 tsp. vanilla
1.5 cups white sugar
4- eggs
2.5 cups flour
1.5 tsp. baking powder
8 oz marrachino cherries
.5 cup chopped
nuts
INSTRUCTIONS
Cream butter, & cream
cheese together.
Add sugar,
vanilla & eggs, blend well.
Add
two cups of the flour and the baking
powder and stir until batter is well
blended.
Cut cherries in half,
and add with nuts in a bowl. Flour nuts
& cherries with remaining .5 cup of
flour.
Fold floured nuts &
cherries into batter.
Pour into
pans. If using coffee cans, spray with
pam and
fill half way. If using Loaf
pan, spray with pam fill with equal
amount of batter.Any aerosol spray
grease will work.
BAKE AT 325 for 1
hour or until Knife comes out clean from
center of pan. Roll in confectonairy
sugar when cool.
Cut cake into
thin round slices to serve.
