NEW YORK BROCCOLI PIZZA

New York city is said to be the home of this white pizza. The west coast may dispute this fact though. Either way, this is my version of this great vegetarian pizza.


INGREDIENT LIST

(1) Your favorite pizza dough. Frozen bread dough works very well, use 2 loaves for 1 big baking sheet.
(2) 1/2 lb. Broccoli tops
(3) 2 lbs ricotta Cheese
(4) 3 cups shredded mozzerella cheese
(5) 2 eggs
(6) 4 cloves of fresh garlic, Minced
(7) seasoned salt & white pepper to taste
(8) Your favorite vegetable toppings, Mushrooms, peppers, onions, ect.

How To Prepare

Take the bread dough that has been thawed and spread out on a greased baking sheet. Cover with a clean, damp towel and let rise 1 hour. Then break broccoli tops into small pieces and steam for 10 min.

Once the dough has risen, mix ricotta cheese with the 2 eggs, seasonings, and the garlic. Spread this mixture across the dough. Next spread out broccoli across the pizza. Sprinkle mozzerella cheese evenly across pizza. Add your extra toppings. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25-30 min.
