Being under your spell is exciting,

Touching your skin so refined,

I breathe in your beauty, so very exotic,

Through my veins you run, like a lifeline,

Kisses like a warm tropical breeze,

Blissfully our lips touch each other,

Lying on me like fine satin sheets,

Thin veils of passionate covers,

Coming nearer to me, I shiver with excitement,

A million shockwaves flow though me,

A sensation like this, known only in dreams,

You press yourself closer to me,

The reflection in your eyes, a light year deep,

And your magical sight so appealing,

A seductive glance, a knowing smile,

Emotions ever revealing,

No angel of God could match your beauty,

No aura so beautifully defined,

Eternal delight, unfailing love,

At night I listen to the soft sweet voice of a Dear friend,

Relaying her thoughts, verse, ideas,

Sharing with me intimate moments of her life,

stories of long ago, others anew.

As I listen to her comforting words, her complimentary

nature, words that mesmerize....

I am in a trance, then closing my eyes, I can

visualize what she speaks of......colorful poetry,

radiant verse, a heart full of wisdom, knowledge,

love, caring. So many things that surround me with

a warmth that cannot be described.

I try and explain how it affects me, but to no avail,

not as I want to sadly....

I have captured, and will keep in my heart always,

the beauty in her words, her giving heart, and most

of all her dear friendship....which to me, is sacred.

Until The Crying Stops

Long Hair falls down around her shoulders,

Eyes that look a mile deep shine at me,

My reflection seen, closer and closer,

By her expression, I can tell what she means,

I see hurt, anger, doubt and more,

Anguish, fear, and longing,

Telling very easily of all her sadness,

All the harm, not belonging,

I cry inside not having the power,

To take this all away,

She deserves happiness with that smile so nice,

Why does it have to be this way?

I let her fall into me, the tears wont stop,

Holding her tighter, stroking her hair,

Trying to find the right words to say,

But how do I find them, and where?

All I can do is quietly hold her,

It seems kind of comforting at least,

And I'll never let go, physically or inside,

Until all of her sadness has ceased.....

These Arms

These arms would love to hold you tight,

If the need should ever be there,

Fall into them whenever you want,

You'll feel just how much I care,

If it be something you're sad about,

Or just relieved with good news,

A hug will always be waiting for you,

For any reason you choose,

In the dark of night, or brightness of day,

It will not matter, you see,

I'll always be waiting with open arms,

You need only ask this of me,

Smile as I hold you or have a good cry,

Either way I won't care,

Just know in your heart, that I will,

Forever and always be there.....

One Word

If  you could but once look into my eyes, you would see so much

more than I could ever hope to tell you. Were it possible

that I could hold you close to me,  you would sense the love

and caring I possess. If you ever reach out your hand to me,

there is nothing on the face of this earth that would prevent me

from taking it.

Someday you may call, you may need help, or you may need me

to listen...and with a single word, I will be there.

I would be just as much at ease whether we were talking

and laughing, enjoying each others company,

or whether you just needed me to sit with you and say nothing....

but to be there just in case.

A single word, is all it would take.
