C.ULAHANNAN(JOHN)

Ulahannan Vettathu (Senior) married from Ettonnil family and settled in Kizhaparayar near Parappalli. He had two sons: Ouseph went to Elikulam & Varkey had no son but only a daughter. So he adopted the son-in-law to Vettathu family in Kadaplamattam, and there is one son called Mathachan Vettathu in this adoption and this Mathachan lives in Edappady town proper.

I. Ouseph

He married Rosa Kunnathettu and settled in Elikulam. They had 2 sons and 5 daughters.

1. Ulahannan.

He married Aley Chennakkyattukunnel of Poovathodu. They had 5 boys and 2 girls:

(i.) Thommachan (V.O Thomas) Retired Teacher

Thommachan married Aleykutty Kallarackal, Elangulam. They had 8 children.

1. Kuttiyamma

Kuttyamma the eldest daughter of Thommachan died while she was 6 years old

2. Baby (Dr. Thomas John: Research Chemist)

Baby married Chinnamma Punnakottil (Sister of Rt.Rev. Dr.George Punnakottil, bishop of Kothamangalam) They are settled in Philidelphia, USA. The following are their three children.

a. Jobin John (Software Engineer)

b. Savin John (Hardware Engineer)

c. Melissa John (Medical Student), Miss Fokana 2000

3. Jose (Jose Thomas) Retired Revenue Officer

Jose married Marykutty Pulickal. They live in Elikulam. They have 3 children.

a. Julie, married to Anil Chemblayil, Pala. They have 2 children: Aleena and Devasiachan

b. Juby

c. Jibin (staff nurse in New Delhi)

4. Lucy

Lucy married Babychan (Baby Joseph, retired professor Govt. college, Nattakam, Kottayam) Ettackakunnel. They live in Kottayam. They have 3 children.

a. Rajesh (lecturer at Eng. College, Chundacherry, Pala), married to Milu (lecturer at Eng. College, Changnacherry)

b. Aneesh (studying for priesthood)

c. Saneesh (student)

5. Georgekutty (Bro. Thomas George)-

Died in 1975 while studying for priesthood

6. Tomy (Tomy T. Vettom)

Tomy married Laila Valiyaveetil, Aruvithura. They live in Suffern, New York. They have 3 children.

7. Joyce (Thomas V. Mathew)

Joyce married to Jessy Varickayanickal, Plasanal. They live in Nyack, New York. They have 3 children.

8. Shajimon (Shajimon T. Vettom)

Shajimon married to Grace Thekketathu, Karimannoor. They live in Tappan, New York. They have 2 kids.

Mathai married Annakutty Pannikkottu of Marangattuppally. Phone: 0482-225446. They had 2 boys and 3 girls:

a. Moly She is married to George Paliyathu of Kodikkulam, Thodupuzha

b. Dr. Johny Mathew He married Mini Sankurikkal of Changanasserry. They are in North Carolina.

c. Dr. Sunny Mathew He married Binni Pulikkottil of Trichur. She is a podiatrist. He is a gynecologist in Palai Govt. Hospital.

d. Mercy She is married to Baby Thomas Vadakkettu of Parathodu. Both are teachers.

e. Dr. Jinsey She is married to Dr. Jojo Vattappilly of Pathampuzha. Dr. Jojo is cancer surgeon and working in Charitas Hospital, Kottayam.

(iii) Joseph

He married Annamma Kanjirathinkal from Elikulam. They have one son and 2 daughters:

a. Alice She is married to Santhosh Kakkanattu in Poovarany. She is a nurse. They have one son and one daughter.

b. BABU JOSEPH,Pembroke Pines, florida. Ph # 954-430-1844, USA E-Mail: BJOS33025@AOL.COM, He married Marykutty Valakkamattom family of Vellikulam. They are in USA. They have one daughter, Anumol

c. Lisamma She is married to Kunjumon, and they are in Trivandrum District. They have 2 sons.

He married Mary Tharappel from Chengalam. They have 4 sons and 2 daughters:

a. Johnson He married Gracy Marady near Moovattupuzha. They are in Gulf. They have one son and one daughter.

b. Joshy He married from Alappuzha. They are in USA. They have one daughter.

c. Jojimon He married Jincy from Elivaly. He is a teacher in Nagaland, and she is a nurse in Gulf. They have one daughter.

d. Josit He married Lincy from Chemmalamattam. Both of them are teachers. They have one son and one daughter.

e. Jolly She is married in Angamaly. Both of them are teachers. They have one son.

f. Johncy or Thrikru (single)

(v) Dr. George)

He married Aniyamma Kokkattu from Moonnany. They have one daughter and 2 sons:

a. Dr. Vilma She is married and the husband is an engineer. They are in USA. They have one daughter.

b. Anil (studying)

c. Vimal (studying)

(vi) Rosamma

She is married to Mathai( Pappachan) Veettiyankal of Kanjar. They stay at Kaippa in Kanjar. Phone: 0486-252282. They had a first child called Shaji or Varkey who died as a child. Now they have 2 sons and 2 daughters:

a. Joyal (b. Aug. 01, 1964) He married Ruby Narippara from Mutholapuram. He has business in Kanjar. They have 2 daughters:

01. Sneha

02. Sandra.

b. Johncy (b. Nov. 22, 1967) She is married to Shajan Puthenpura from Pazhayamattam, Thudanganadu. They have two sons:

01. Adhith

02. Punnoos.

c. Joby or George (b. July 18, 1971) He is single and he is working in Dubai.

d. Josmie (b. Feb. 03, 1978) She finished her studies in Medicine (Vetenary), and doing her internship now.

(vii) Mary

She is married to Alexander Kadookunnel of Madukkakunnu, Elikulam. Alexander is now a retired college professor from Mannanam.They have 2 sons and one daughter:

a. Sony He married Sona from Manathoor, Kallappally. They have 2 daughters.

b. Seena She is married to Eroorickal family in Kizhaparayar. They have one son and one daughter.

c. Simmy He is studying in Bangalore.

2. Thommachan

He married Annakutty Powethu and they both died without a child.

3. Mariamma Ettakkakunnel.

She married Philip Ettakkakunnel in Bharananganam.

She married Kunjeppu Padinjareduthu in Pravithanam.

5. Aley Thengumpallikunnel.

She married Varkey Thengunmpallikunnel in Poovathodu.

II. Varkey

He had only one daughter, Aleykutty who is married in Kadaplamattam. The daughter's marriage was an adoption and she had a son called Mathachan who is now in Edappady. Another son called Kochu is in Kadaplamattam.
