1973 - Club Tour

Four guys in make-up? Platform boots? The bass player breathes fire and spits blood? A new group from New York City was on the scene - KISS. In 1973 KISS performed their 1st concert at "Popcorn" (later "Coventry") and performed all year at NYC clubs. The curiosity began to infect spectators of this highly visual band. On June 12th, 1973 Engineer Eddie Kramer produced KISS' 1st five song demo. KISS then would be singned by Casablanca Records.
