March 7, 2001: Lakers beat the Raptors. Kobe scored 29 points in this 4th-consecutive Lakers win. His 7 Rebounds and 5 Assists show he's done a great job in that match. Although he was tired of playing a lot these last days, he had a great performance! That's Kobe!!! December 21, 2000: 45 Points for Kobe helps Lakers win against Houston. Kobe Bryant scored 45 Points this Thursday night. It was already the 4th time he scored 40 points or more in December! Before the game he took one day off of the training, and said: "I felt more fresh tonight. All I did yesterday was sleep. I only had one meal. I just tried to relax." It seems it helped. His Stats: 45 Points, 4 Rebounds, 3 Assists, 1 Steal and no Block. December 19, 2000: Third win in a row for the Lakers. Having been a close game, the L.A.Lakers won in Miami against the Heat 81-79. "We got him a couple of good, easy shots at the end," Bryant said of teammate Horrace Grant. "And we felt good about him taking them." The Miami Heat defense had Kobe under control. His Stats: 23 Points, 5 Rebounds, 6 Assists, no Steals and no Blocks. December 17, 2000: Kobe scores 40 points against the Raptors and wins the matchup with Vince Carter. The first matchup between Dunking Heroes "Air Canada" Vince Carter and Kobe Bryant ended with a 104-101(OT) win for L.A. Kobe scored 40 points. "I wasn't concerned about that," Bryant said about this matchup. After 4 quarters the score was tied at 91-91. Kobe played 52 minutes and made 11 out of 11 from the free-throw line. Furthermore he had 7 Rebounds, 4 Assists, no Steals and 3 Blocks. December 15, 2000: The Lakers are back by winning in Vancouver. The Lakers won 98-76, although Center Shaquille O'neal missed this game because of his graduation ceremony at LSU. Kobe scored only 17 points and said: "What bothered me is when you're shooting, a guy smacks your arm. It's tough to make shots." His other Stats: 4 Rebounds, 1 Assist, 1 Steal, 1 Block. Decmeber 13, 2000: Lakers lose again. Second Loss in a row for the Lakers: this time it was the Portland Trailblazers who could beat the champs from Los Angeles, Score 96:86. Kobe Bryant played pretty good and made 35 Points, 6 Rebounds, 6 Assits 2 Steals and no Block. Bryant made 13 of 25 shots, bouncing back from a three-game stretch in which he averaged only 23.3 points and shot 35 percent. December 12, 2000: Lakers lose their home game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Ray Allen and his Bucks won 109-105 against L.A. Kobe made only 8 of 31 attempted shots. His teammate Shaquille O'Neal said after the game: "We turned the ball over a few times, and just played awful defense." December 10, 2000: Kobe scores 26 points against the Pistons. The Lakers won their game against Detroit 112-88. Kobe B. scored 26 points, as much as Temmate Shaquille O'Neal. He made 4 Rebounds, 9 Assists, 1 Steal and 1 Block in a total of 33 played minutes.
