Im shown sitting in the Left Gunners seat, and Northern Baghdad is out my window. If you look slightly to the back of me you can see my M-60D. We were desending in altitude from 10,000 feet to 1,000 feet so my weapon was still stowed inside. He took it right before I pushed the weapon back outside the aircraft. The aircraft that I was flying in when that picture was taken was aircraft 9626653. A week later that aircraft was shot down south of Tikrit. It was the first Blackhawk to be shot down since Mogadishu.
