MadmenImages of blood and bombs
crowd in as I try to pray.
Madmen rule the world;
I don't know what to say,
As I pray for the enemy.
How many people have to dieBefore the world steps in?
How many babies will grow up alone
Before people care?
How many children will be disfigured, dismembered
Before we cry
ENOUGH!And yet, and yet...
To stop the madman means
loss of more life.
And yet, and yet...
To ignore the slaughter
by the meglomaniac
Is to consign more innocent
victims to the grave
or to a life of hell.I drink in the beauty of
the surrounding landscape
covered with snow,
displaying unmistakable signs of spring
and think about the
eternal winter that is freezing
the Madman's heart.
