Tips and Suggestions

• Always use a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope), this increases responses as well as response time dramatically.
• Neatly handwrite or type a letter. Most people suggest handwriting, but if your writing is terrible, then type your letter.
• Keep your letter pretty brief. Use up to 1/2 page and not much more.
• Never send anything that is valuable.
• Don't send gifts!
• Have patience. Some requests may take up to several months or even years.
