Unicorns are the horses with the ivory twisted horn on thier heads. They are the symble of purity. Unicorns romed the earth long ago, in times of peace, they are said to be the peace makers of life. These creatures are vurtualu harmless, but then again, they don't have a horn on there head for nothing.
In many stories unicons are hunted down for their horns, ledge has it that the powder made from a ground horn will give thou who drinks it eternal life.(but that does have its down sides.)
These beast are said to have coats of pure white and hooves of gold, silver or both. But unicorns are not only white but many colors. In some storied unicorn were used as war horses to defend. In others they were used to cure the sick and dying.
Unicorns are one of the most beautful of the mythical creatures, and are now in hidding, for long ago they were hunted for their horns and now fear humans more than ever.
