Born October 3rd 1884 in Brzezany, Austria Poland. He emigrated from Breman, Germany in 1906 arriving here in the United States April 27th 1906 on the Kaiser Wilhelm Der Grosse. On November 9th 1907 he married Mary Kolek with which they had 9 children. They settled in Utica, Oneida County New York. He died September 27th 1956 of an accident.
Their 9 children are listed as follows Josephine, Antoinette, Mary, Sophie, Genevieve, Wladislaw (name changed to Walter Baker), Edward Charles (My Father), Joann, and Patricia.
