Edward Charles Bajgerowicz I- Born March 2nd 1924 in Utica, New York, the son of immigrants. Attended Holy Trinity School Until 8th grade after which he had to work in a factory to help support his family (Depression Era). On January 24th 1943 he was inducted into the army to serve during World War 2. Served as a medic in the European Theater September 19th 1943-November 5th 1945.He recieved The Purple Heart (Wounded during the Battle of the Bulge), Good Conduct Medal, and The World War 2 Victory Medal. Received Honorable Discharge November 26th 1945. About 1946 he married Jessie Koscinski with whom he had a daughter Linda Bajgerowicz. For the next 20 years he would drive truck for Burgess Oil, Madore Paving, and United States Postal System. In 1968 he would marry Shirley Day in Clayville, New York. He would have two sons Edward Charles II (March 1969) and David Michael Bajgerowicz (December 1970).
