1. When you finally break a losing streak with a big winner, the inquiry light will start flashing.

2. Inquiries always turn out against you,never for you.

3. If you wheel an exacta or double, it always comes in with the favorite.

4. If you pick the shortest betting line, there is always a first-timer ahead of you who doesn't have a clue.

5. If you get shut out at the window, the horse you were going to play will surely win.

6. If you bet win, your horse will come in second; if you bet place, your horse will come in third, and if you bet show your horse will finish forth.

7. If you only bet an exacta one way, the reverse will come in.

8. Photos ALWAYS turn out against you.

9. Secret tips that only you know about will surely drop to 2-5 at the last flash.

10. If the announcer says a horse broke stride (at the trotters) you don't have to look, it IS your horse.

11. If you play a horse that ONLY does good on a fast track, it will start pouring after you bet.

12. If you change your mind, your original horse ALWAYS wins.

13. If you go to the track with several friends, you are always the only loser.

14. If You DO win a place or show bet, its because the horse WON!!(usually at a price!!)

15. If you bet the speed horse in the last race because speed held with wire-to-wire winners in all the previous races, the winner will be a longshot from WAY off the pace!!!
