RPPS: A Modest Proposal: In the Clinton Administration the Society watched one of the most belicose presidents use little wars to distract attention from his domestic problems. Given the character of the President, the Society suggested that the US buy him and retire him to the mustang ranch to avoid future difficulties with his Arab and Serb whipping boys. There President Clinton could study why wine, women and song were mutually incompatible. The Society also suggested a tribute to the Hill: the title Mother Virtue. How right we were!
