I have to admit that I know next to nothing about Tony. I read that his birthday is July 25th. Tony grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and went to LaCueva High School. He then went on to college in Nashville where he started a record company out of his dorm room. His song "Love Falling Down" was a big success.
I first saw Tony in March, 1999 playing Roger in the broadway musical RENT. He has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard! His last performance in Rent was on September 26th, 1999 and he has just returned from London where he spent the last few months playing the role of "Simon" in the new British film production of the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar," The expected US release is in spring of 2001 (How can we wait that long?!?) He is currently appearing as Judas in the Broadway production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" which opens April 16, 2000. I would write more, but I don't want to steal info from his official page.
