Troop 320 - November 3, 1999 PLC Minutes

Patrol Leader's Council Planned These Activities

WHAT'S the PATROL LEADER'S COUNCIL
The Patrol Leader's Council is the group of boy leaders from our troop which plan the troop's activities under the guidance of the scoutmaster and his assistants. The Patrol Leader's Council members are: the senior patrol leader, assistant senior patrol leader, all troop office holders (e.g. Troop Scribe, Troop Historian, Troop Quartermaster, etc.), Troop Guides, and the Patrol and Assistant Patrol Leaders from each patrol.

What Does the PATROL LEADER'S COUNCIL DO?
We plan the things the rest of the troop will be doing in the next few months !

WHY should I CARE ?
You can make sure the troop activities are the kind of fun YOU want to have by making sure YOU TELL YOUR Patrol Leader BEFORE the next PLC meeting - what you want him to suggest for future troop activities. Your patrol leader will share your ideas with the rest of the PLC. If the PLC decides to do your idea, then it will become part of the official troop event calendar. So you see, YOU CAN MAKE SURE THE TROOP DOES THINGS YOU LIKE DOING by making sure you tell your patrol leader what he should be suggesting at the PLC.
