This
morning I sit
With my steaming coffee cup,
And
patiently wait
For the sun to come up.
Outside my
window
Within my view,
Lies my garden
All
sparkly with dew.
I remember
'my boys'
And their packets of seeds.
The
rows, so precise.
The complaining of
weeds.
Their faces
all freckled
From the hot summer sun.
Life
lessons given slowly.
One by one.
