~Pets w/o Pictures~
For all the goldfish,guppies, mollies, and other fishes who gave up their lives due to over-feeding, being fed copper pennies and the occasional 'hot wheel' car. Also, cases of ick due to the cats trying to fish them out of their watery homes. You taught us all many lessons that needed learning so that the children grew into loving and responsible pet owners today. Your sacrifices were appreciated.
For all the furry little hamsters who also helped the children grow. You were often their first real pet and taught them responsibility. You were also, their first real loss. You are remembered here.
CHARLIE~My oldest sons standard guinea pig. You were quite the character and I will NEVER forget finding you in my refrigerator. I never knew how you got in there, but was happy to find you safe and sound! We lost Charlie after our home caught fire. Although he survived the fire, he died of respiratory problems. You were an original, Charlie. And, you are still remembered.
IMP~A sweet little Valentine. A corkscrew pygmy guinea pig. A black and white little doll baby who would also succumb to upper respiratory problems.
LEFTOVERS~A ferret who was so named because he loved, well, anything his humans would eat. This included sauerkraut with mustard. (YUCK!) Leftovers was with us a long time (3 yrs.) when I began to notice the relentless deterioration of aging. It was about this time when we got the two kittens. He loved playing with those kittens! One day, after playing, he willingly returned to his cage on his own. I guess we didn't really know how tired he was. In the morning when I would let him out to play, he would awaken no more.
