Somewhere near Heiny's 5th birthday I decided it was time for another kitten. This time I chose a female with blue points. PoGee was a beautiful ktten but Heiny was NOT going to be a companion to her. After a week of hissing and spitting, we decided the best thing to do was to get PoGee a kitten more her own age. My hubby wanted a male. So, it came to be that after PoGee's first birthday she became a mommy. She was a wonderful mommy cat, and a devoted mate. There is no doubt in my mind that PoGee and Fenwick really loved one another. There is also no doubt that I will NEVER have breeding pets again. I can get into a lot of reasons for this (and may) but not on this page. PoGee was a very calm cat. She always seemed to show Heiny great respect. PoGee was a fierce cat when it came to her kittens. She once attacked her mate for jumping into a chair where one of her kittens was sleeping. Poor Fenwick didn't really understand her attitude, but after that, he gave her a wide berth when she had kittens around her.
