Well, its been a long while,
seems like yesterday,
that I last saw your smile
on that late winter day.
You never really said "good-bye",
though you had to leave,
left me with a mournful sigh,
teardrops on my sleeve.
we had good times, aplenty,
some bad ones too,
gave you my thoughts for a penny,
Bro, I sure miss "You".
You were here for only twenty-three,
now twenty have gone by,
they put you under a tree,
damn, that really made me cry.
To this day, as I visit you,
i leave behind a little stone,
they're cool and sometimes blue,
to let them know you're not alone.
Rest my Dear Little Brother,
for it will be awhile,
