When One Friend Touches Your Heart
It dont' seen like so long ago,
that we first met in here.
Your "howdy", you always did show,
is always nice to know you're near.
Months went by, we talked and shared,
our everyday life of events.
Always a shoulder to show we cared,
with smiles and hugs we sent.
Some folks may think it's ackward,
that on-line, friends, can really feel.
With silly gestures and typed words,
to know you, I know it can be real.
Months turned into a few years,
and to this day, it feels like many more.
Like from our childhood, a friend so dear,
who knows me to the core.
With our God, as our shinin' star,
our friendship will endure ups and downs.
Unlike most on-lines by far,
with a special love unbound.
