Satisfy You

Satisfy You: Chapter 1

Kaycie walked down the long corridor to her dorm at Boston College. She removed her gloves and got her key out of her jacket. Even though she came from New York, for some reason March was much colder. She brushed some of the snow out of her hair and continued walking, smiling and nodding to her hallmates. As she neared her dorm she heard the faint typing of Ashely on her computer.

"I swear to god, if she is talking to him again I'm going to kick her head repeatedly." Kaycie thought to herself. She turned the key and walked in.

"Hey Ashley, what are you doing?" Kaycie asked as she walked into the dorm room.

"Nothing much, just talking online." Ashley answered in a dazed voice.

"Come on who are you talking to, I promise not to mock you if it is him again."

"Fine, it is him, I just can't help it. He seems so nice." Ashley answered her unwillingly.

Ashley continued talking online to this guy she had never even met before. He had IMed her think she was someone else and they began talking. She only knew that his name was Brian and that he lived in Florida. She never really told him anything about herself except her name and that she lived with her best friend. Ashley would sit there for hours talking to this guy that she had never met. She didn't want to admit it to herself but she was starting to like him.

"Ashley, Ashley, A-S-H-L-E-Y!!!!" Kaycie yelled.

"Yeah, what? I heard you, I was just typing something and I didn't want to lose my thought. Give me a break!" Ashley looked over at Kaycie annoyed for being interrupted when she was talking to Brian.

Kaycie rolled her eyes as she normally did when she knew that Ashley was talking to Brian. She didn't understand how someone could be so involved with someone they had never met.

"When did she become such a freak?" Kacyie thought to herself. She laughed and went and sat on Ashley's bed and watched her talk to Brian.

"Don't you realize that this guy could be a rapist, a child molester, or something along those lines for all you know?" Kaycie questioned Ashley.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Why do you always have to look to the bad side of things? Be more optimistic damn it!" Ashley responded in her sarcastic manor.

"Dude, he could be stalking you for all you know? Doesn't that make you think a little before you talk to him? It sure as hell would make me think."

"Why are you getting so worked up about this? He isn't a stalker nor a rapist, NOR a child molester." Ashley had started to get a little pissed off by what Kaycie had been saying. "For some reason I really trust him, he seems like a nice guy…okay?"

"Yup. Whatever you say. But when you are lying in a gutter somewhere dead and naked, don't expect me to pick up your nasty body." Kaycie returned the sarcasm.

They both started to laugh and Ashley continued talking to Brain.

****On the Backstreet Boys tour bus****

Brian sat in front of his laptop. He didn't know what it was about this girl but whenever possible he wanted to talk to her. As soon as he would get on the bus he would head straight to his computer. He loved talking to Ashley; she would always put a smile on his face.

"Bri, what are you up to now?" Nick came walking into the back room of the tour bus.

"Nothing, just talking to Ashley."

"I don't understand you Frick." Nick sighed. "You act like you are in love with this girl that you have never even met. I don't get it. I really don't."

Brian rolled his eyes. Nick is lucky Brian had even heard him at all.

"Your right you don't understand. I'm not in love with her like you said I am. I just like talking to her. She is interesting. Ashley is different from the girls we get to meet." Brian tried his hardest not to sound annoyed. He often had to explain things to Nick.

"So, let me get this straight." Nick was really starting to push Brain's buttons. "You talk to this girl you have never met. You are not in love with her, but yet you rush in here every night and talk to her for hours about absolutely nothing." Nick asked.

"Just because I talk to her doesn't mean I am in love with her. And I don't rush in here every night just to talk to her. I want to check me e-mail and she just happens to be online." Brian said trying to defend himself.

"Yeah sure B-Rok. Whatever you would like to think is fine by me." Nick went and sat down on the couch.

"Why don't you just meet her?" Nick stared as Brian typed away to Ashley.

"Because she lives in Boston and we have no time off while we are on tour for me to go and meet her." Brian was starting to get really aggravated with Nick.

"Well, we are going to be there in about a week why don't you ask to meet her then?"

Brian had completely forgot that they were actually going to be performing in Boston. He began getting a little nervous when he realized that he could actually meet her. As he thought about it, he didn't want to ask Ashley to meet him.

"What if I scare her off? What if she doesn't want to meet me as badly as I want to meet her?" Brian kept thinking to himself all different reasons not to ask her to meet him when he was in Boston.

"B-Rok, are you there???" Nick slapped Brian upside his head to try and get his attention.

"Ummm, yeah. I was just thinking about something." Brian said startled by Nick whacking him in the head.

"So are you going to ask her?"

"About what?" Brian was trying to ignore the subject.

"About meeting her in Boston." Nick practically yelled at Brian.

"I don't know yet, I can't decide."

"Frick, just do it. The worst this she could say is 'Hell no you psycho'." Nick began to laugh.

Brain didn't find it very funny. "I guess your right. I think I am going to."

Brian began typing to Ashley asking her if he could meet her:

Ashley, I was just wondering if while I was in Boston for a business meeting I could meet you somewhere?

Brian hadn't told her about him being a Backstreet Boy. He knew she wouldn't believe him anyway and would probably think he was psychotic.
