When Ashley walked into the cafeteria Nick and Kaycie were in the booth cuddling. Ashley couldn't believe how much Kaycie already liked Nick. Kaycie looked up and saw Ashley come storming in. She could tell something had just happen. "Oh great. I take it this means we won't be staying." Kaycie thought to herself. AJ also saw Ashley coming in. He knew what she had seen bus. AJ had seen Leigh Ann go on the bus and wait for Brian but he didn't try and stop Ashley from going to the bus. He knew that Brian wouldn't tell her about his girlfriend. AJ slide over to let Ashley sit down but she just stood there pissed off.
"What happened Ash?" Kaycie was afraid to know.
"You are never going to fucking believe this shit. I go out to the bus and what do I see? Brian, kissing a blonde slut. It has been one fucking day and he is already kissing someone else. I was ready to kick him in his fucking head." Ashley was so mad. It was just the fact he was cheating. She knew deep down that AJ was the one that she really wanted to be with. He always had away to make her laugh.
"Your right. I can't fucking believe that. It has been what…less then 24 hours and he already has his tongue down someone else's throat?" Kaycie was getting just as mad as Ashley was just thinking about it and it didn't even happen to her.
As Kaycie was talking Brian came running in the cafeteria. He ran up to Ashley and turned her around. When he came in, Kaycie got up out of the booth. So did Nick. He was afraid he would have to hold the two girls back.
"Ashley, it's not what you think. Well, she is my girlfriend, but I just wanted to make sure that things were good between us before I broke up with her." Brian pleaded with her.
"Is that some sort of fucking joke? Is that supposed to make it better you fucking idiot? You wanted her as a back up just in case we didn't work out? Do you realize how that sounds?" What Brian had just said made Ashley even more pissed.
"Look, I just didn't know how you were going to react to me finding you. I just wanted to make sure I made the right choice." As soon as those words came out of his mouth he knew he would regret them.
"Do you think you are buying a fucking car. You test drive me and if you didn't like me you would go back to the good reliable used car!"
"No, No. You're not understanding what I am trying to say." Brian knew this was pretty much the end of their relationship. Nick was standing next to Brian now. Kaycie was standing next to Ashley. All of the guys were watching them argue. Brian had really messed up.
"What's the big deal anyway? You have only known each other for a day." Nick argued.
"What?? Are you kidding me? We've been in a freakin' "Cyber Romance" for months. AND NEVER ONCE DID HE MENTION HIS BITCH!" Ashley argued back. Verbal confrontations have always been one of her skills. She could out-wit everyone. And she planned to use those skills now.
"Yea, but still. Who cares? You act like you've been his girlfriend when really it's been who you so lovingly refer to as 'his bitch'." Nick knew that he was crossing the line. He could see it on Kaycie and Ashley's faces, but he still wanted to be clear.
"You know what? I'm a little fucking confused here Brian. You TRACK me down and then make me look like an ass in front of your friends. You're a fucking sweetheart. My heart is swooning for you. You sure do know how to woo someone." She replied sarcastically. Nick couldn't hold back any longer. He thought he had to defend his best friend.
"Look, you two only chatted. You don't know him. You don't know anything about him. She wasn't his bitch, YOU were."
"Yeah!" Brian added. Everyone's head in the room shot toward the little group that was in the middle of the room. Ashley was ready to knock him out. She walked closer to both Nick and Brian, but before she could do anything Kaycie grabbed her arm.
Kaycie gasped with anger. That statement made Kaycie furious. Nick and Kaycie had only known each other for a day too. "So that would make it ok for Nick to kiss another girl? Just because he hasn't known me for that long?" Kaycie thought to herself. She looked over at Ashley, she was ready to knock him out. She walked closer to both Nick and Brian, but before she could do anything Kaycie grabbed her arm. Before Kaycie realized what she was doing she reached up and in one swift motion slapped both Nick and Brian across the face. Brian and Nick were shocked. Ashley's eye's bugged out of her head. All the guys stared at them with their mouths wide open. All of them thought that Ashley and Kaycie deserved to be pissed and both Nick and Brian deserved to be hit. "Thatta Girl Kay." Kevin and AJ both thought to themselves.
"Whoa dude. Thanks, but you didn't have to do that. I was actually looking forward to doing that." Ashley still couldn't believe what Kaycie had just done.
"You know Nick, I was really starting to like you. But, if you think it is OK to just mess around with other people's feelings then I'm going to save myself A LOT of hurt and walk out. I just wish I didn't have to." Kaycie was just as mad as Ashley was now. Nick hadn't realized that it Kaycie and him had only known each other for a day. It seemed like they had known each other forever.
"Now what did I do." Nick thought to himself. He watched Kaycie and Ashley turn around and walk away. They were both still pissed off at Brian and Nick. They headed outside by the tour buses to talk.
"Well, it looks like your decision is made a little easier now. I know that you really wanted AJ anyway. It's his tattoos, you just can't resist them. You never could." Kaycie was trying to help Ashley figure out what she really wanted.
"Your right. I love a guy with tattoos. But, I still feel bad. I knew Brian before AJ. Brian is the one that got us here." Ashley didn't feel too bad consider what she just saw. Ashley just didn't want to cause any problems between the guys.
"DUDE, don't feel bad. He has a girlfriend. AJ doesn't and he likes you so much." Kaycie really wanted Ashley to go for AJ.
"I will think about it. Anyway, what is going to happen with you and Nick?" Ashley felt bad for getting Kaycie and Nick involved in her and Brian's problem.
"I really don't know. What he said kind of pissed me off if you didn't notice. I couldn't believe he thought it didn't matter just because you two just met each other. At least you talked to Brian online and got to know him a little bit more." Kaycie was confused about what she wanted to do.
"I think he was just trying to defend his best friend. I can tell he really cares about you and you really care about him. You wouldn't have gotten so pissed off if you didn't." Ashley thought Nick was really good for Kaycie. Despite his stupid comment, Ashley still liked Nick. She knew that he made Kaycie happy.
They both stood there for a minute when AJ and Nick walked out looking for them.
"Hey, how are you doing?" AJ asked Ashley.
"I'm fine. I just can't believe he did that already. You would think that it would be a little later in a relationship, but I guess I was wrong. If there is one thing that I can't stand it is cheating." AJ was impressed at how well she was taking all of this. He admired her strength. He knew that it was reasonable for her to yell at Brian.
As AJ and Ashley were talking, Nick decided he should straighten things out with Kaycie. He couldn't stand the thought of losing her already. He asked her if they cold talk and she agreed. They walked onto the bus and sat down at the table in the kitchen.
"So, how did the back of my hand taste?" Kaycie wanted to make up with Nick but she was going to make him pay for what he said. She thought that a nice little joke might be a good icebreaker.
"Not good. That kind of hurt." Nick smiled.
"Well, what you said kind of hurt too." Kaycie said.
"I understand. I didn't mean it like that. I just couldn't see why she was so mad. They haven't known each other for that long." Nick tried to explain himself.
"HELLO!!! They have talked to each other for a lot longer than we have. Does that mean that there isn't anything between us? I would really like to know how you feel about us." Kaycie wasn't going to let him off easy.
"I know. But it seems like we have known each other for years. I am really starting to like you a lot. That's why I want you two to come with us for a couple days. I want to spend as much time with you as possible. I don't want to lose you already." Nick pleaded with her.
Kaycie couldn't believe what he had just said. She felt the exact same way about him. "Thanks a lot. Now how can I stay mad at you?" They both laughed. Before she knew it Nick leaned over and kissed her.
