For the next week Ashley and Kaycie traveled with the boys picking out their clothes. It gave them something to do while the guys were rehearsing. Ashley had become really close with AJ. She loved spending as much time as possible with him. He could always make her laugh, which was really appealing to her. Kaycie and Nick were also very close. They spent every second with each other. He really wanted to get to know her. He loved the fact that she wasn't an obsessed fan.
"I can't believe that we have to go back to Boston tomorrow." Ashley sighed. Kaycie and her were in the dressing room deciding what the boys should wear to their interview on TV tomorrow.
"I know. I feel like I have known Nick forever. I can't imagine leaving him tomorrow." Kaycie and Ashley were both disappointed that they had to leave tomorrow morning. They actually enjoyed the job the boys gave them too.
"At least we will get to see them in a couple of months. Hopefully they won't find too other online loves in the meantime." Ashley said sarcastically.
AJ and Nick were onstage practicing for that night's show. Neither of them were concentrating which was annoying the other guys.
"Why don't we take a break?" Kevin suggested.
"Good idea." AJ agreed. "Hey Nick can I talk to you for a second?" AJ asked.
"Sure. What's up?" Nick had a feeling of what AJ wanted to talk to him about.
"I made plans for all of us to go out after the show. Do you think you and Kaycie would want to do that or would you rather spend time alone with her." AJ hoped that he would want to go with Ashley and him.
"That sounds good to me. It will be good for all of us to be together. Then we won't get all sappy since it is the last night together."
"That is what I was thinking. I haven't told Ashley about it yet, so lets go talk to them."
"Ok. I am sure they will like that idea too."
AJ and Nick went back to the dressing room. Kaycie and Ashley were standing in front of the closet staring at all the clothes.
"Hey, what are you two doing?" Nick asked.
"Trying to decide what you are going to wear tomorrow. We can't leave you boys to do that yourself. You would end up in some baby shit colored suit knowing your sense of style." Ashley laughed.
"HA HA, very funny. Just so you know, I have a great sense of style." Nick tried to defend himself.
"Whatever you would like to think. What did you guys want?" Ashley changed the subject quickly.
"Well, we wanted to take you both out to dinner after the show since it is your last night to be with us." AJ said.
Kaycie and Ashley just looked at each other. "Sure." They said at the same time.
"Won't you guys be tired after the show?" Kaycie remembered what they were like after a show.
"Yeah, but this is the last night I can spend time with you." Nick wouldn't give up being with Kaycie no matter how tired he was. "Be ready at 11. We will meet you on the bus."
"We figured we will be nasty and have to take a shower so you have to give us time to get ready." AJ laughed.
"Guys, nothing will be open by time we go out." Kaycie said.
"There has to be something. We have it all under control OK? Just be ready. We have to go rehearse some more." AJ leaned over and kissed Ashley on the cheek and turned to go back on stage.
As they were walking back out Nick asked, "AJ, Kaycie was right. Everything will be closing by time we get out."
"I know. They guy at the Italian restaurant down the street is closing it early and letting us be in there alone." AJ was so proud of himself.
"Good thinking Bone."
"Thanks."
The guys did the show and ran back stage to get ready. They got ready and walked out to the bus to get Ashley and Kaycie. Ashley and Kaycie were glad that they were all going to do something together.
"Wow, you two look great." Nick said when he walked on the bus.
"Watch it buddy, Ashley is mine." AJ said jokingly.
The girls just laughed. "So where are you taking us?" Kaycie asked.
"You'll have to wait and see." AJ grabbed Ashley's hand. They all walked off the bus and began walking to the restaurant. Since it was late at night they figured they'd be safe to walk outside without bodyguards. Soon, Nick and Kaycie were ahead of AJ and Ashley. When they turned around they saw them making out under a street lamp.
"We should just leave them alone. We can be alone anyway." Kaycie nodded in agreement. Soon they neared the restaurant. They sat down and got something to drink. After about 20 minutes Ashley and AJ walked in. When Kaycie saw her she knew that Ashley had been crying. Actually, both of them had. They looked all flustered and their eyes were puffy. "Oh that's so sad." Kaycie thought to herself.
"Guys, I think we should take a raincheck. I really want to go back to the hotel and I think it would be a good idea if we were alone. Do you guys mind?" Nick offered. He could tell his friend was upset and they didn't need to be sitting there in silence for the whole meal.
"Yea, that's totally fine. Let's go." AJ grabbed Ashley's hand and ran out the door. They had decided to go for a little walk before they went back to the hotel. Nick and Kaycie on the other had walked straight to the hotel. Kaycie was sad and tired so she changed into her PJ's and threw her hair into a ponytail. Nick just went right to the bed and layed down. Kaycie came over and layed down beside Nick. After about 10 minutes of silence she heard Nick sigh.
"There are cracks in the ceiling." He muttered. Kaycie looked up at the ceiling.
"Yea, but they are supposed to be that way."
"Yea. I know. I was just saying." Nick sat in silence for a while. All of a sudden they heard AJ and Ashley walk through the hall.
