Ashley and AJ went into the hotel room. Ashley walked over to the bed a laid down while AJ checked his voice mail. AJ hung up the phone and walked over to the bed. They had both missed each other so much it was great just being near each other. They began kissing. AJ suddenly shot his head up into the air.
"Do you hear that Ash?" Ashley tried to hear what he was talking about. She heard Kaycie screaming and Nick screaming back. AJ and Ashley went outside to see what was going on. When they got out there surprisingly it wasn't coming from the hall it was coming from Nick's room. They opened the door to see tears streaming down Kaycie's face and a furious look on her face.
"YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT?! YOU MADE ME LOOK LIKE SUCH AN ASSHOLE!" Kaycie screamed.
"I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THE FUCK YOU ARE SO MAD! SHE DIDN'T MEAN ANYTHING!" Nick replied.
"WELL I GUESS I DIDN'T MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU EITHER. I WAS SO FUCKING EASY TO GET OVER!" Kaycie's voice was a mixture of anger and sobs. It was the kind of emotion where you are so angry, sad and frustrated that you just breakdown.
"Kay-what happened?" AJ asked. He didn't have to ask though, he knew Kaycie found out about Natalie. Nick called her his "rebound" love and he dated her for about a month.
"You know exactly what happened. I am leaving, I can't take this anymore. It's so stupid. I should have to go through this shit over someone I will see 2 months out of the year. It's not worth it. Ashley-I have to go and I want you to stay with AJ." She turned back around to look at Nick. "I can't believe I agreed to come here in the first place. Goodbye." And with that, she grabbed her stuff and walked out. Nick just broke down and cried like a baby. AJ walked over to him and tried to talk to him.
"Go find her. Before it's too late. I'm telling you do it." Nick looked up and saw Ashley nodding in agreement. She was confused about what happened, but whether or not Nick had a rebound fling or not she knew that they were right for each other. She would have to bitch at AJ about why he didn't tell her this later. Nick ran out of the hotel room and saw Kaycie waiting for the elevator. She looked at him with such an emotionless expression on her face it scared him. For once he couldn't tell what she was thinking. He walked over to her and just stood there. He didn't know what to say, but he knew he had to be there.
"I cannot believe you did that." Kaycie said, staring straight ahead at the wall.
"I can't either." He replied. The doors opened and Kaycie looked at him.
"Bye Nick." She tried to contain the emotions. It was so much easier that way. She bit her lip and walked into the elevator. Nick reached in and led her out by her hand.
"Please, I am begging you. Don't leave. Please. Don't leave."
"This is such bullshit. I don't want to deal with this anymore. I won't. If you think I'm going to put up with your bullshit like every other fucking girl would you are wrong. I have better things to do. I am not here to fucking stroke your ego. If we are going to have a "relationship" then you are going to be honest with me." Kaycie just stood there. Waiting for his response. She was so pissed at herself for forgiving him so easily. She shouldn't, but she did.
"Kaycie, I just didn't want to upset you. I made a mistake. You have know idea how sorry I am for this. She really meant nothing to me." Nick was trying to dig himself this hole.
"I don't really fucking care what she meant to you. You still did it and that is all that matters." Kaycie wished he would just shut up. He only pissed her off more when he spoke.
"I understand what you mean." Nick knew that he couldn't be mad at her for getting so upset.
"How the fuck could you? I didn't go and find someone else. I should have though since you were the one being an asshole that whole time!" Kaycie was getting really mad again.
"Look Kaycie. We both made mistakes. I think we should just start all over again. From now on we tell each other everything we are feeling. No secrets." Nick was hoping things would go back to the way they were.
"Yes, we both did make mistakes. I wish I never even met your stupid ass. Do you know how many girls would die to be near you. I wish I could tell them that you're really not worth it. You are totally not worth all the shit that goes down when you are involved." Those words out of Kaycie's mouth felt like knifes going through him. He understood why she was so pissed. He knew he fucked up and it was the worst feeling in the world.
"Please...stay. Think this over. I promise, I swear, I will make it up to you please!" He begged.
"Fine. If you ever pull shit like that again just get down on the floor and let me kick you in your head." Kaycie walked away and went into her room leaving Nick in the hall. She just wanted to be alone for awhile. She threw her stuff down and sobbed. She was so pissed at herself. She didn't want to forgive him, but yet she did. She was confused. She decided to dial Ash's room and ask her opinion. She talked to Ashley and Ashley agreed to come to the room to help her sort things out.
"Hey Kay, whats going on?" Ashley knew it would be hard to help Kaycie with the situation.
"I don't know what to do anymore. He did so many stupid things and what did I do? I just forgave him. I can't believe I did that. That is what makes me so upset." Kaycie began to cry. She hated crying over Nick.
"You forgave him because you love him." Ashley knew Kaycie would not agree with that.
"No I don't. I just met him. I barely know him and after what he did I really know I don't." Ashley just shrugged her shoulders and thought for a minute.
"If you don't love him and want to be with him why are you staying after he did all of that shit to you?" Ashley knew she had Kaycie with that sentence.
"I don't know why I am staying." Kaycie hid her head under her pillow.
"Buddy, your staying because you want to be with him and you know it. I love being right!" Kaycie sat up and looked at Ashley.
"You're not right. I am just staying because it is fun being here."
"Bullshit. You are staying because you want to work things out with him. I think you should. You two are good for each other." Kaycie's eyes popped out of her head.
"You really think so?" Ashley knew that she Kaycie was now over what Nick had down to her.
"Yeah, you think I just made that all up in a big plot against you?" They both laughed. "Shut the fuck up." They sat in the room talking to each other for a little while longer before Ashley left and went to AJ's room. Ashley was happy that Kaycie was feeling better now.
