** A Week Later **
Nick and Kaycie were almost back to normal. Actually it could be said tha they were better than normal. They always were together and rarely saw AJ and Ashley. As soon as the show was over they would go straight up to Nicks room and stay there until it was time to leave the next morning. No one knew what they were doing. Surprisingly it didn't bother Ashley, her and AJ were doing the same thing. It was now Sunday night and they decided to go see Nick and Kaycie to see if they wanted to go grab something to eat. Nick answered the door and let them in.
"Kaycie is sleeping. I don't think that we will be able to." Ashley just walked over the the sleeping Kaycie and hit her in the head. Her eyes shot open and she rubbed her head.
"I'm not stupid. I know that you are pretending to be asleep so you and Nick can make out more than you already do. Get up, get showered and we are going." Ashley turned on her heel grabbed AJ by his shirt and walked out. AJ just smiled at Nick and walked out. Nick just ran back and jumped on top of Kaycie. "We are going to have to go." Kaycie replied between kisses. Nick just let out a whine and continued on. She had to push him off so she could get in the shower. Soon they were both ready to go and waiting for AJ and Ashley in the lobby.
The doors to the elevator opened. Ashley and AJ walked off the elevator holding hands.
"Where the hell have you two been. You wanted to go out and then you just leave us down here." Kaycie yelled.
"Sorry, we got sidetracked." Ashley and AJ started giggling.
"You know I thought I heard you two going at it when I was in the shower. You two are freakin' nymphos. Lets just go." Kaycie and Nick walked out ahead of AJ and Ashley. Ashley and AJ ran to catch up to them. Kaycie was kind of glad they were going out. Nick and her had been spending a lot of time together that she enjoyed but she needed sometime with other people. Kaycie watched Ashley and AJ and couldn't believe how happy they were together. Her and Nick had not quite gotten to be as close as AJ and Ashley were. It was like they had known each other for years. Kaycie wanted her and Nick to be like that. They all went into the restaurant and sat down and began catching up with eachother.
"Hey. Theres a jukebox over there lets go play some good music." Ashley and AJ got up and went over to the jukebox. "Kaycie, theres something I wanted to tell you." Nick was staring right into Kaycie's eyes.
Kaycie was scared to death. She knew that it must be that Nick didn't want to be with her anymore. "What Nick?" "Kaycie, from the first day that I saw you I knew that we would be great together. Spending this time with you made me realize that you complete me. I now know how empty I've been without knowing you. I love you Kaycie." Nick said this with so much sincerity Kayice was almost in tears. That was exactly what she wanted and needed to hear from him.
"I love you too Nick." Kaycie and Nick were so caught up in the moment they didn't see Ashley and AJ walk back to the table.
"Ashley, you c-o-m-p-l-e-t-e me." AJ said laughing. "Stop, you had me at hello." Ashley and AJ were doubled over laughing at the thought of the recreation of Jerry McGuire scene.
"You guys are assholes you know that?" Nick and Kaycie found no humor in that at all.
"No, remember the reinactment of us "you know what"-ing the other night? Payback's a bitch" AJ retorted.
"OK, there is a difference between you two fucking and us having a sincere moment. Of course you wouldn't know because you never had any of those." Nick spat out.
"Sincere??? I was going to tell Ashley tonight that I loved her, but I didn't get a chance to yet. You plagerized a freakin' movie. That's not sincere that's lack of a better word! Sorry if Ashley and I don't just sit in our room having 'nice' conversations. We have better things to do." AJ didn't realize what he had just said. Ashley and Kaycie just looked at each other.
"Wow, that was kind of a low blow. But you did just find out AJ love you." Kaycie said.
"Yeah it was, sorry about that buddy. I know. Why do they have to ruin it?" Ashley just rolled her eyes at the two arguing.
"Will you two shut up? It's not a big deal." Kaycie remembered what Nick and her had done to them so she didn't really take offense.
"Fine. I'm sorry for making fun of you Nick." AJ hated giving up so easily.
"I'm sorry to." Nick mumbled.
"You two are really like 5 year olds you realize that right?" Ashley and Kaycie just laughed at the two pouting.
"So AJ go back to what you were saying." AJ looked at Kaycie puzzled.
"What did I say? AJ looked confused. All of a sudden he realized what he had said. "Thanks Kaycie for pointing that out. That didn't exactly come out the way I wanted it to. Sorry Ash."
"Believe me I didn't mind." Ashley said.
They sat in the restaurant for awhile longer talking and then went back to the hotel.
