That next morning, Kaycie walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water but stopped halfway there when she overheard murmuring voices. She creeped up a little closer and leaned in to listen. She recognized the voices of AJ and Nick.
"How do I tell her?" AJ asked Nick.
"How do I know? You shouldn't have gotten yourself into this mess. Now how are you going to explain that your ex girlfriend is coming over? Sorry buddy, it's all up to you. I don't know what to tell you. If she knows you like I know you, she'll know that you won't cheat on her. Plus I'm sure that she'll be watching that bitch like a hawk. Therefore she'll know for certain you won't do anything." AJ just looked at the floor.
"Don't call her a bitch." AJ halfheartedly said. Nick's eyes raised and his mouth dropped open.
"Are you serious? Let me define a bitch: One who steals your shit...remember that time she stole your diamond ring, cheats on you, and is completely mean to all of your friends. Now let's describe Adrienne….OH, what a coinky dink…she is a thief, a cheater and a jerkoff to all your friends. Yep, she's a bitch my friend so get over it." AJ just sighed. He then saw out of the corner of his eye, Ashley walking down the hallway.
"It's the morning, I shouldn't spring this news on her now." AJ thought to himself. He ran up to her and kissed her. By this time Kaycie had walked into the kitchen.
"Uh, OK?" Ashley said with a puzzled look on her face. She walked past him and poured herself some juice. Noticing that everyone was looking at her she stopped drinking and put the glass down.
"What?" She looked at everyone, focusing on Kaycie. If Kaycie knew something she wouldn't look her in the eye, she'd look at the floor. Kaycie knew something. Ashley saw that she was looking at the floor.
"Kaaayccciiieeee??"
"Assssshhhlllleeeyyyy?" Kaycie mimicked.
"What do you know?" Kaycie just looked around at the room.
"I know that AJ should change the color pattern in here. Lepoard print in the kitched is a little tacky." Ashley just looked at her.
"Bullshit. Tell me what you know." Kaycie shook her head.
"Really I don't know anything."
"Nick?" Ashley moved on to Nick.
"AJ has something to tell you- in private." Nick grabbed Kaycie and went outside and took a walk on the beach. After watching them leave Ashley turned around to AJ.
"Well, what did you have to tell me?" Ashley asked.
"I don't want to explain this I am just going to blurt this out." Ashley looked at him in anticipation. "My ex, Adrienne is coming to stay for a few days."
"Ok? Is that it?" Ashley breathed a sigh of relief. She thought it would be a little more serious than that. Although she was slightly offended that everyone thought that she would wig out. She had complete faith in AJ and she trusted him wholeheartedly.
AJ walked over to Ashley and kissed her passionately. He was so happy that he had found someone that wasn't jealous like that. As AJ was kissing her he opened one eye to see Kaycie and Nick out on the Deck.
"Awwwwwwwwwwwww......." They both said simultaneously. Ashley and AJ just laughed it off. As AJ walked to the door Ashley pushed ahead of them and decided not to let them in. She then grabbed AJ and walked up the stairs. They could hear Nick and Kaycie's cries. Ashley faintly heard: "AJ, when I get in there I'm going to make you SO fucking sorry. So sorry in fact that you won't be able to Breed."
After Ashley and AJ were done "Making Up" so to speak, they went downstairs to let Kaycie and Nick back in the house. They were no where to be found but they did look out and found a note written in the sand.

AJ and Ashley walked back in the house wondering if Kaycie and Nick were really pissed. They worried for only a second that they really were pissed and then went up to the bedroom again.
