"Whoa dude, go open the door. There is a good looking blonde out there that looks awfully familiar to me." Kaycie said to Ashley with a blank look on her face.
"Ok, your standing right there, but I will get up and open it for you since you seem to be having trouble right now." Ashley said sarcastically.
Outside the door Nick grabbed Brian by his collar and pulled him in front of door. "If that is Ashley she is fair game." Nick thought to himself.
Ashley got up and opened the door. When she saw who was behind the door she didn't recognize him at all. "K, are you color blind? He has brown hair." Ashley looked over at Kaycie not seeing Nick.
"Hi…ummm…is Ashley Matthews here?" Brian began getting really nervous. He could feel his face going shades of red unknown to man.
"I'm Ashley. Would you like to come in?" Ashley waved them in. "I'm sorry, but do I know you?"
Kaycie grabbed Ashley's arm as Nick and Brian walked in the room. Ashley just looked at her and whispered "What?" As Ashley and Kaycie were looking at each other for an explanation of who these guys were, Brian and Nick looked around the room. On one side of the room the whole wall was covered in Dave Matthews Band pictures. This made Brian feel a little better that they were not crazed Backsteet Boy fan. On the other side there were pictures of all different people mostly male models, but some from movies and TV.
"Ashley do you realize who that is?" Kaycie whispered to Ashley as the guys were looking around the room not paying attention.
"You know K, the blonde one does look familiar, but I can't think of who it is." Ashley was perplexed by who was standing in her room.
"Dude, I really think that is Nick from the Backstreet Boys." Kaycie looked at Ashley with a serious expression on her face.
"Yeah right, why the hell would they be here?" Ashley knew that Kaycie had to be kidding. She looked over to the guys. "So are you going to tell us who you are?"
Brian glanced over at Ashley. He was everything he expected. Not only was she the girl he had talked to online, but she was beautiful.
"Ummm…yeah. My name is Brian. This is my friend Nick." Brian was starring at Ashley. He saw her eyes practically bug out of her head. "Either she knows I am from BSB or she knows I am the guys he talks to online." Brian thought to himself.
Ashley shot her head over in Kaycie's direction. She couldn't believe what she just heard. She knew all the Backstreet Boys' names. "This has to be a coincidence." She thought.
"Whoa…wait a second. Your name is Brian and your name is Nick. Is this some sort of joke? Did some one set you up to this? Come on tell me who was it?" Kaycie pointed to both Brian and Nick as she said that.
"No. No one set us up to this. It was all his idea. I take it you recognize us?" Nick has been starring at Kaycie since he had walked in the door.
"Do you think we live in hole?" Kaycie asked sarcastically. "You can't turn on MTV without seeing your faces plastered all over it. Not that we mind." Kaycie laughed.
They all laughed. Ashley still couldn't believe there were two Backstreet Boys standing in her dorm room and she was wearing flannel pajama bottoms.
"What are you doing here? And how the hell do you know me?" Ashley tried not to sound rude. She hoped he didn't get the wrong impression but this was kind of weird for her.
"I'm sorry, if you don't want us to be here we will leave." Brian headed towards the door.
"No, No. I just am a little freaked out about this. Its not everyday a Backstreet Boy walks into your dorm room." Ashley felt bad for the way she sounded.
"I can see your point. Its not everyday that we track people down and go see them." Nick said. Brian glared at Nick after he said that.
"You tracked me down???" Ashley had no clue how they would know her. "Did I win a contest her something? Kaycie did you enter me in a contest?" Ashley looked over at Kaycie who was starring at Nick.
"Huh? No. Why would I do that?" Kaycie answered.
"Ashley, I am the Brian you have been talking to online. I really wanted to meet you and when you said 'no' online last week, I still couldn't help it."
Brian knew that it was about time he told her why he was there.
"What are you talking about? You never asked me that." As soon as she thought about it, she looked over at Kaycie.
"Oops…forgot to tell you about that." Ashley gave Kaycie her death look as Kaycie said that.
"Sorry, I just didn't think it was in your best interest to be seeing someone you met over the internet. Don't you watch 20/20? Babs was doing a segment on that just a couple of weeks ago. I was worried for you." Kaycie explained.
Brian was actually relieved when he heard that. He did want Ashley to think he was an obsessed stalker.
"Look, that doesn't matter now. I just really wanted to meet you. You're not like other girls I meet." Brian tried to break the tension growing between Ashley and Kaycie.
"I actually wanted to meet you too." Ashley couldn't believe what was happening to her.
Nick and Kaycie started talking to each other. Kaycie had always wanted to meet a boy group member. She was shocked that there were two standing in her room.
"So how did he find her?" Kaycie asked Nick.
Nick started to explain how they found her. Kaycie could believe Brian went through all that to meet someone he didn't know. She starred at Nick as he spoke to her. "This guy is fucking piece." She thought.
Brian and Ashley had been talking. He told her about how he found her and what made him want to meet her. Ashley stood there in awe. She was so flattered. Never did she think she would meet a Backstreet Boy. Nor did she think she was talking to one online. They sat there for about 15 minutes before Nick interrupted them.
"Bri, we have to get going soon. We have rehearsal in about an hour." Nick really didn't want to go. He enjoyed talking to Kaycie.
"Oh yeah that's right. We better get going." Brian was so happy that he tracked Ashley down. She was everything he could ask for. Ashley was funny and so understanding.
"Are you guys going to the concert tonight?" Nick asked them.
"No, we knew that we would NEVER get tickets to it unless we slept outside. And no offense but Ashley is a DMB kind of girl." Kaycie knew that Ashley would care about her saying that. Ashley was borderline obsessed with Dave.
"It's not that I wouldn't go. I just didn't want to freeze to death OK?" Ashley said.
"Well, if you would like we could give you backstage passes. We would love to see you two again. Then you can meet the rest of the guys." Nick knew Brian would be pleased he came up with that idea.
"Sure, that would be great." Ashley was so excited she would get to see Brian again.
Brain and Nick walked out the door. As they walked down the hall Nick looked over at Brian. Brian had a huge smile on his face. "For a guy who wanted to leave the second he knocked on the door you look pretty happy." Nick said.
"Yeah well, you look just as happy as I do." Brian looked up at Nick who had been smiling since Kaycie slammed the door in his face.
"You know what I just thought of Bri?" Nick didn't wait for him to answer. "I knew those two looked familiar. They were the two that were dancing in the car." Nick had all of a sudden thought of that out of the blue.
The both laughed and got into the car.
