The purpose of the Retired Knights is two fold. l. To help enhance the Council building by helping in its upkeep by supplying man power volunteering for different projects. Some of the projects completed by the Retired Knights were: Painting of the outside of the entire building, painting of the storage room located in the back of the hall, painting of all the panels in the Brady Room, twice cleaning all the chandeliers in the main hall.
The second objective of the Retired Knights is fraternally assisting the other retired knights by meeting once a month on the third Monday with a Noon meeting and a lunch following. Some members because of health and age cannot make the regular council meetings at night so they appreciate the Noon meeting where council activities are discussed. There are no dues charges for the Retired Knights but each new member must be approved by the present membership. It should be understood that the Retired Knights are just for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Council.
Activities held during the year are the Retired Knights Christmas Party and "Man of the Year" Dinner Dance held in Jan/Feb.
