Making a rainbow indoors : )

PROJECT # 2

Material you will need:

• A glass filled with water. (The glass has to be
  smooth and without any design.)
  
• A large sheet of white paper.

Instructions:

1. Place the large piece of white paper on the
   floor in front of a window through which bright
   light is shining.
   
2. Set the glassful of water on the window sill
   so that it extends slightly over the inside edge.
   
3. The water in the glass will act as a prism and
   produce a spectrum on the paper on the floor.
