Wax Paper Thanksgiving Placemats
Supplies
Leaves, seedpods, small sticks
Wax Paper
Iron
Go for a "nature walk", and collect various leaves,
seedpods, and small sticks. Take one piece of wax
paper (any size you want), and place the items on
this piece. Take another piece of wax paper, same
size, and lay this carefully over the first piece.
Iron the two pieces together.
(Adult supervision required!) These clear
placemats also look nice hung in windows.
FRESH VEGETABLES PRODUCE A WARM TABLE CENTERPIECE
For a creative, inexpensive, and easy centerpiece for your table, use
fresh vegetables! Depending on which produce is currently in season,
you can even select fresh vegetables that coordinate with the colors
of your table linens.
Arrange and display vegetables in any large shallow container
(baskets, large bowls, or trays work well) on your dining table for a
dramatic and fresh decorative statement!
