A THANKSGIVING POEM

Twas the night of Thanksgiving, but I just couldn't sleep
I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep.

The leftovers beckoned -- the dark meat and white,
but I fought the temptation with all of my might.

Tossing and turning with anticipation,
the thought of a snack became infatuation.

So, I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door
and gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore.

I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,
pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes.

I felt myself swelling so plump and so round,
till all of a sudden, I rose off the ground.

I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky
With a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie

But, I managed to yell as I soared past the trees ....
happy eating to all -- pass the cranberries, please!

"THANKSGIVING IS PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE"

I'm thankful for life each and every day. I look forward for the opportunity to make life better for someone who comes my way.

Where there is a need let me give of my time and riches, where there is sadness let me bring joy and inspire gladness.

In this world there is alot of greed. People dont seem to care to take the time to feed, oh!How To many are in dire need.

By caring and sharing we can let the people of the world know that a true friend gives so others can live.

The more we do for others the more joy we have inside which others wiil see. So keep-on- smiling, and giving, and dont ever stop lending ---------------- a helping hand: cuz by spreading Love and Kindness we can make the world a better land!
