ALAN DAVIDSON (PIOTROWSKI)
Al loved jazz, the old original jazz, and he liked big old American cars. He could fix anything that went wrong on his Olds. He was passionate about ergonomics (probably why he drove an Olds), and lectured us on the best triangular way to organize a kitchen. He was a pretty good cook; he took a lot of pride in his spaghetti and was really annoyed when Ed said he preferred Ragu. In this picture he was drinking beer, but as I recall, a fine bottle of wine was always a pleasure. (C. Roberts, Dec 1999) |
