All students will be expected to read two out of the three titles listed. Students taking 11AP will be required to read the two tiles listed. 12AP students will be required to read the title listed and complete the appropriate assignments. Once the students return in September, they will be given a short answer test on characters, setting, plot, conflict, and themes. The teacher will conduct a unit of critical thinking questions based on the book(s). When the classes finish their first marking period novel, they will write an essay on that book as well as on their summer reading book.
