The Cursed Demon. He is Angelus. Created around the 1700's, he was very merciless. Along with Spike, he terrorized Europe. Agonizing his victims before he actually harmed them. He created Druscilla's Vampire-self that way. Until a tribe, that he tormented, put a curse on him. The evil inside of him was banished, but he was still a Vampire. With human feelings, he still had to drink blood, and the memories of his evil self would torment his human emotions. Many years later, he ended up in Los Angeles. Staying in the sewers and eating vermin, he remained in the shadows. Then, he met Buffy. She was the Slayer, and he was a Vampire, but he was falling in love. When Buffy moved to Sunnydale, Angel followed. He finally confronted her, and they fell in love. But there love was forbidden. Xander had always despised Angel, because he once had a crush on Buffy. Angel and Buffy came closer together each passing day. Patrolling for Vampires one night, destroying monsters another. Until, they had one moment of true happiness. That was the catch with Angel's curse. The tribe knew that no one would fall in love with a Vampire, and Angel would never be happy. So to break the curse, he would have to have at least one second of true happiness. After that, Angel became evil again. His evil self despised Angel's love for Buffy. So, one by one, he would torment her friends until getting to her. The first one to go was the tribe member, Ms. Calender. On the verge of finding a cure for him, Angel killed her. Ms. Calender was Giles's love, and Giles attacked him. Angel just laughed, for Giles was no match for a Vampire. Buffy was there to help Giles, and founded a hatred for Angel. Angel teamed up with Spike and Druscilla, and together, they released the Judge, a demon who judges souls and chooses which ones to consume. It was about to consume a mall, but Buffy and Co. with the handy use of a rocket launcher destroyed it. After the Judge was destroyed, Buffy had confronted Angel. She was going to kill him, but deep down inside there was a man she loved. Angel just mocked her, so instead of killing him, she kicked him where it hurts and walked away. Later, he was on his way to releasing Hell on Earth. He and Druscilla had become very close. Spike was not happy with that. Capturing Giles for the instructions, and scaring Willow by killing her fish, it was time to kill Angel. Teaming up with Spike, Buffy attacked Angel. At the same time, Willow had found Ms. Calender's cure for Angel. She performed the ritual, but when Angel became good again, Buffy had slain him. She had killed her love. A few months later, for unknown reasons, Angel had returned. He was his good self, but his love for Buffy was rocky. His relationship with everyone else was a little edgy too. But he kept his relationship with Buffy strictly platonic. But that didn't last for long. They were going to go to the prom together, but the Mayor's words made Angel think. Buffy was only mortal, she would grow old. But Angel was immortal, he would stay the same age forever. If he remained with Buffy, she would grow old and die. Angel would be young, and Buffy's life would be wasted. Angel gave up their love, but Buffy wouldn't. He was attacked by Faith, and the only way to save him was from the blood of a slayer. Faith was gone, so Buffy was the only option. She couldn't let him die, and forced him to drink her. He was fine after that, but still couldn't remain with her. After the Mayor Ascended and was destroyed. Angel took one last look at Buffy, walked through the smoke, and disappeared. He now resides in L.A. with Cordelia. There, he feels the only way to redeem himself is to help others.

Cordelia Chase

The Snob. Cordelia grew up in Sunnydale. She is one to judge another. Her father was rich, she was in the popular cliques, and was one of the prettiest girls in Sunnydale High. When Buffy came to Sunnydale, Cordelia considered to have her as a friend. After all, Buffy dressed right, was pretty, and was from L.A. But Buffy's call as a Vampire Slayer made Cordelia shun her. Cordelia was friends with the most popular people, and considered anyone else as less superior. She made it a habit to make fun of Buffy and Co., especially Xander and Willow. But she fell for Xander. She tried to keep it a secret, but when her friends found out they ignored her and left their friendship. Cordelia swore she didn't care. But they began to hate each other more and more. They became friends, then enemies, then friends. She couldn't stand him anymore, so they broke-up. Her friends still disliked her, though. She declared that it was Buffy's fault she was no longer possible, and from the power of a demon, she was sent to another world, where Buffy never came to Sunnydale. It was overridden by Vampires. She still had her friends, but more than half of the school were undead. Even Willow and Xander. She could no longer wear bright clothing, had to get home before dark, and could no longer go to the Bronze. She made a mistake, but by that time, she had died. Luckily, the wish was ungranted and the world went back to normal. When Giles was relieved as Buffy's Watcher, Wesley came in. For some strange reason, Cordelia had a crush on him. There crush was strange and awkward, very scary...Anyway, by that time Cordelia's father had made a little tax mistake. Apparently, he didn't pay them for a couple of years. The family went bankrupt. Cordelia got into many good colleges, but couldn't afford to go to any. She was forced to get a job just to pay for her prom dress. No one knew about it, except Xander, who kept it a secret. He even bought the dress for her. Is there something still between them? After graduation, she moved to L.A. She hangs with Angel, and looks into getting a Hollywood career.
