If you're going to play chess on a real board with real pieces,
as opposed to on a screen, don't forget to orient the board properly.
Before you set the pieces onto the chessboard, recall the phrase,
"White to the right."
This saying refers to the square on your first rank (horizontal row),
all the way to the right - if it's not a white square,
rotate the board ninety degrees in either direction.
Otherwise, you'll be playing the entire game sideways.
