SmackDown
A highlight pacakage of last Monday's events is shown followed by a graphic
picturing tonight's main event. Austin, Rock and Undertaker taking on
Rikishi, Kane and the WWF Champion Kurt Angle with Triple H as the special
guest referee.
Inside the arena Chris Jericho enters the ring with a ladder. Sitting atop
the ladder now Jericho says he's not here to cut a 20 minute promo on
Benoit, but to simply state the facts. First of all, he beat Benoit with the
ladder on RAW just like he's going to do this Sunday to take the
Intercontinental title. Y2J says he doesn't wanna wear out an old cliche by
saying "I don't wanna wait till this Sunday." But he truly doesn't wanna
wait and is asking Benoit for a ladder match right now.
Perry Saturn along with Terri make their way out to the top of the ramp.
Saturn says that Benoit would love nothing more than to come out and beat
Jericho like he's done so many times before, but since Jericho assualted him
with the ladder this past Monday, he's at home suffering from headaches and
he can't even take care of his little boy. So Saturn says he'll take his
place. Jericho says step into his office, it's go time.
Ladder Match
Chris Jericho vs. Perry Saturn
Saturn runs in and Jericho gets the upper hand right away with a few
clotheslines. Saturn makes his way just outside the ropes on the apron where
Jericho hits a springboard dropkick off the second turnbuckle. Just then
Chris Benoit runs in, but gets knocked down three times in a row by
Y2J. Saturn recovers and a double team goes down. Benoit grabs the ladder
and cracks Jericho in the head with it. The Crippler then gets Jericho's arm
in the ladder and slams it down a couple times and then locks on the
Crossface. Referee's make their way down, and after Benoit runs them off a
couple of times, he finally takes off, leaving Jericho down and out.

got bigger business to attend to tonight.
Edge and Christian make their way to the ring. Edge says there will be no
posing tonight due to the fact that they are preparing to take on the
Dudleyz at the Rumble this Sunday. Edge says if everyone still wants to use
their flash photography, they can turn their attention to the TitanTron
where a highlight pacakage from RAW is shown when Edge and Christian
attacked the Dudleyz with chairs. Christian adds that the next pose will be
unveiled at the Rumble, and it's called "A Cold Day In Dudleyville."

the nads from the top rope. Edge nails Buh Buh with a spear. Christian
knocks out D-Von with the Unprettier (his double underhook reverse DDT type
thing). Edge grabs a table. The tag champs then yank Buh Buh off the ring
apron, sending him through the table.
Trish Stratus arrives in a limo.
Stephanie sees this from her room backstage and complains even more. Triple
H says he's gonna step out so Steph can calm down.

with Taker and Kane. Taker says would he be out here talking about it if
there was something going on between them. Undertaker then says people will
be made famous in the Rumble.
Vince and Trish are in the dressing room. Trish is in her bra. Vince
apologizes for Steph's actions. Trish says she learns so much from Mr.
McMahon and she gives him a hug, grabbing his ass in the process. Vince says
he thinks she has a very bright future in the WWF when Dave Hebner
interrupts to say that someone has arrived to talk with Vince. Vince storms
off.
Steph sees this and chucks her veggie tray at the TV. Hey, that was a
perfectly good veggie tray.
Vince is lead to a limo and starts talking to someone we don't see. Vince
asks if he's all ready for the Rumble. Vince says he only has a few minutes,
but he hops in the limo to talk.
After the commercial, Stephanie heads to the ring. Steph says it all starts
out as a meaningless piece of garbage but then it keeps growing until you
can't stand it anymore and she's comparing it all to Trish Stratus. Trish
then walks out and says that nothing is going on between Vince and her. They
are simply friends. (Right, I've got friends that are big breasted beautiful
girls who love to hug me and grab my ass all the time! No, really I do.)
Trish says that Vince is more like a mentor to her as she gets in the ring.
Steph threatens her but Triple H comes down and says there won't be a
catfight no matter how bad these jerks (the audience) want it. Crowd fires
up the asshole chant, but HHH shrugs it off. Triple H tells Steph she needs
to calm down when Kurt Angle's music hits and the WWF Champion heads into
the ring. Angle says just as Trish has an ass, Triple H is an ass, but it's
all apples and oranges. Whatever the hell that means. Angle steps into the
ring and Trish hides behind him. Angle mentions that he's been invited to
the presidential inauguration and then asks Triple H where his gold medals
are. Angle averts his attention to Trish and Triple H nails him. Steph
attacks Trish and those two roll around as Triple H throws Angle out of the
ring. Triple H pulls Trish off of Stephanie and Angle leaves with Trish.
Kurt and Trish are shown backstage, Angle makes sure she's alright. Vince
enters and says Kurt can leave and have a good night. Vince says that Trish
has the night off and Vince is gonna take the night off with her.

a bit before Venis brings Test in the ring. Val punches Test into the
