this is a project i made and places in the rows of Ames department store, New Paltz new york.
The main idea behind the kit, was to help chicks stay single. the word single was altered to sin-gal, because i feel that society views being between realationships acceptable but uninterested in the next avialable one sinful. there fore this is a kit for the sinful gal determined to stay single.
the kit included:
a Tape (to help rock away the blues)
Elegant dark sun glasses (to hid puffy eyes)
a little reminder book of why you hate your x
Helpful Pins (to ward off advances):
"stop staring at my tits"
"if i promise to miss you will you go away"
"I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person"
"i've got better things to do right now then make babies"
extra AA batteries
-and the show stoper-
a 6" sparkly green jelly vibrator
the kit was up in the store for a few hours
some one keeps hidding the vibrator behind the box
eventually i removed that part of the peice
after i did though a strange thing happened
some one added on to it
the placed a tube of lipstick, and a little (imataion)gold cross neclace in with my other supplies i thought this was a very interesting acurance, but haven't figured out its meaning as of yet
i also had a comment sheet next to the display
i recieved two comments and they are as follows:
"i was looking for a price !! ADA good idea. . .self preservation."
and "the display caught my eye and it's a very good idea.-Mary Fricker"
