The Doctor's Photo Album IV

Sylvester McCoy

Sylvester McCoy

Sylvester McCoy was the Seventh and final incarnation of the Doctor before the show was put on hyatius by the BBC. Sylvester McCoy seemed to be an imalgimation of his former selves. He had William Heartnell's temper, Patrick Troughton's "fool's attitude" that lured the bad guys into a false sence of security, and Tom Baker's mixed metaphors. ("Time and Tide Melt the Snow Man") By this time he had become very talented at fighting bad guys and always seemed to have a plan although he never would share it until the very end which could be both anoying and confusing the first time you watched an episode. Still, he had some great stories and was certanly worthy of the position of the Doctor's final incarnation.

INTERESTING FACT: Sylvester McCoy, before taking on the role of the Doctor, was famous for the number of ferrets he could put down his trousers...
