Dr. E.C. Reems, Founder & President

Pastor Ernestine Reems has set the pace for women in the ministry by blazing a trail in the Gospel ministry that has propelled her to international recognition. Although Pastor Reems attended Patton Bible College in Oakland, California, she received her foundation in the word of God from her late father, Bishop E. E. Cleveland.

Dr. Ernestine C. Reems has received many awards and honors from local, national and international communities. Some of these accomplishments include:

85% Reduction in Crime in the area:Hope School of Excellence, Pre-School to 8th; Food and Clothing Bank; Project Redy; E.E. Cleveland Manor, is a 54-unit housing complex for senior citizens and disabled residents; Matilda Cleveland Transitional Housing Program; E.C. Reems Gardens, established in 1998, is a 150-unit affordable housing complex.

On October 1988, Dr. Reems organized the E.C. Reems Women's International Ministries, now headquartered in Oakland, California.

As Pastor of Center of Hope Church, and Teacher, Dr. Ernestine C. Reems continues to be a full-time Evangelist, traveling from coast to coast, and even abroad, sharing the love of Jesus Christ. There are yet new roads to travel for Dr. Ernestine Cleveland Reems, because God has given her a vision of hope for this world.

Dr. Christine Liddell

EVANGELIST CHRISTINE LIDDELL is the executive Director of the E. C. REEMS WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES in OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA. Evangelist Liddell is without question one of the most respected church administrators in the country. With her expertise in accounting andadministration, she has been instrumental in establishing viable Christian business entities. Evangelist Liddell labors in the ministry with Dr. Reems. With this powerful combination, the role of women in ministry has taken on a new meaning.

Evangelist Liddell is the President of a senior housing corporation and secretary of a housing development organization. She is an evangelist, teacher, counselor, motivator and leader. She continues to be consistent, systematic and energetic in her approach to handling the affairs of a multi-faceted ministry. She also travels as a full-time evangelist.

Minister Pearl Hedgspeth

Minister Pearl Hedgspeth is the President of the E.C. Reems Womens' International Ministries, Queens' Chapter, Coordinator of Project Sales for the National ECRWIM Conference, and a devoted member of Bethel Gospel Tabernacle under the pastorate of Bishop Roderick Caesar, Jr. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education from Herbert H. Lehman College in the Bronx, a Master's Degree in Business Education from New York University and a Master of Divinity Degree from New York Theological Seminary. Currently, she teaches at Passaic County Community College in Paterson, New Jersey, as an Assistant Professor in the Office Systems' Technology Department. Not only does she teach skill courses, but God has endowed her with the gift of teaching and opening up His truths in the word of God.
