NY (Queens) Chapter President's Message, Rev. Pearl Hedgspeth:
Greetings to you in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
Just a word of encouragement to all of you to continue on in the faith, remaining true to the covenant relationship that you've established with the Lord. We never know the lives that we affect, for our obedience to the Word of God, can also ignite the fire in others to do the same. The bible says that "we are living epistles" and when others can be affected by what we do and not by what we say, then we know that we are walking in the light. So in all our fiery trials we must continue to trust God and know that He's there conforting, strengthening and helping us to become "more than overcomers" thus making us "living epistles." We must allow Him to refine us through our trials, for once all the impurities have been burned away, the Bible says, "we shall come forth as pure gold."
