Since Sunday, January
16th, there had been talk of snow on
Thursday, the 20th. It didn't look like
much, until Wednesday, the 19th. I
thought 2-4 inches.
This is what
the NWS had to say Wednesday
afternoon.

ACROSS THE REGION TOWARD DAYBREAK

THROUGHOUT MUCH OF THE DAY THURSDAY WITH
THE HEAVIEST SNOW EXPECTED FROM LATE

I wasn't too sure of
this, but did raise my estimate for
amounts. Now I said 2-4 Nassau, 3-6
Suffolk. Mistake. Should have stayed
with what I had said.
Later that evening the
NWS was saying the
following...

Things were looking

Eastern Suffolk 6-8 & maybe more. Should
have stayed with what I had said earlier
in the day, 2-4 inches.
