WWF RAW Results: 11/5
Commentators: Jim Ross and Paul Heyman
Report By: Kevin Gregg
WWF RAW Opener:
WWF RAW started off with a video clip from this past Thursday night when Test
and Booker T defeated The Rock and Chris Jericho for the WWF Tag Team Titles.
After that match, The Rock gave Chris Jericho the Rock Bottom a couple of times,
and later in the night, he issued a challenge to Chris for the WCW Title on RAW.
Clips from Rebellion were shown, and Vince got them to shake hands, and then
Chris told The Rock to try not to lose another big one, again. From there, The
Rock punched Chris Jericho right in the face and the two got it on in the locker
room at Rebellion!
In the arena:
The fans went nuts for the start of WWF RAW and Jim Ross and Paul Heyman kicked
off the show on commentary! Tonight, it will be The Rock and Chris Jericho
tonight for the WCW Title! Also, the WCW United States Title will be on the line
when Kurt Angle defends against the Undertaker! Also, Edge, the Intercontinental
Champion has issued a challenge to Test for that very title!
In ring promo:
Vince McMahon's music hit and he strutted his way to the ring, and he's got
something on his mind. Vince said that Chris Jericho and The Rock go one on one
for the WCW Championship, tonight, and he's expecting them to beat the hell out
of each other. He's all right with that, as long as after the match, the two
represent the WWF as a part of Team WWF at the Survivor Series. Vince is here
tonight to make a major announcement! He's here tonight to make an announcement
that's going to make World Wrestling Federation history! You see, Shane and
Stephanie had a pretty big announcement one week ago tonight when they announced
that someone from the WWF would defect and join their Alliance. As we know, on
that night, Kurt Angle showed his true colors. Those colors are anything but
red, white, and blue. None the less, Angle's defection was pretty catastrophic.
Indeed, Angle's defection wounded the WWF. Wounds of that magnitude, well,
they're difficult to over come.
None the less, Vince's announcement tonight is not designed to wound the
Alliance. His announcement tonight is to be the death nail of the Alliance.
Quite frankly, his announcement tonight will allow all of the fans watch before
their very eyes the Alliance completely crumble! By now, he's sure that they've
figured out that someone from the Alliance is coming over to the World Wrestling
Federation. Oh yeah! When you think about it, it's not only someone from the
Alliance, but it's someone from Team Alliance. That narrows it down to five
individuals, and quite frankly, that individual will join the World Wrestling
Federation at the Survivor Series in the winner take all match up! That
individual will make WWF history. Quite frankly, Vince has been sworn to secrecy
on this, but he feels compelled to let the cat out of the bag, so to speak.
Although perhaps, he really shouldn't, but then again, he guesses that he has to
be Vince. He's Vince McMahon and he can say and do anything he wants!
He'd make a deal with the devil himself to make the WWF survive. Maybe he has,
because that individual at Survivor Series who joins the WWF and makes history
that night is...Vince stopped, and then he said what the hell: Stone Cold Steve
Austin! Vince said this will send shock waves throughout the WWF and the
Alliance, and maybe Vince shouldn't have said it, but none the less, he did.
Stone Cold Steve Austin's music hit and he made his way to the ring! Austin told
Vince to shut up as he was trying to speak, and you could hear the fans chanting
"What, what, what!" Austin told Vince to shut up again, and he said
that he's sure got a big mouth, doesn't he? When Vince started talking, Austin
figured that he had nothing important to say, and he mentioned the name Stone
Cold Steve Austin, so Austin said What?! Who the hell does Vince think he is?
Vince said that he's Vince McMahon, and Austin told him to shut up. Austin said
that Vince comes out here flapping his gums, saying that Stone Cold Steve Austin
is going to leave the Alliance. What?
Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to turn his back on the members of the
Alliance, what?! Stone Cold Steve Austin is coming back to the World Wrestling
Federation, what? Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to make history at Survivor
Series, what? Vince talks a lot of trash there, but the most important thing
Vince said a while ago was when he said that he's Vince McMahon and he can do
and say anything he wants. Bottom line, he said Vince has got to be Vince
McMahon, and what Austin says is that Stone Cold Steve Austin has got to be
Stone Cold Steve Austin! Austin then kicked Vince in the gut and gave him the
Stone Cold Stunner in the middle of the ring and he stood over Vince as he was
down and out. Austin left, and Vince was left in the ring, smiling! Paul Heyman
questioned as to why "Vince McSatan" was smiling! "Vince McSatan"
- classic.
Backstage:
During the break, Stone Cold went to the backstage area, and the Alliance
members were all standing there, looking at him, as if he was going to leave the
Alliance. Austin told them that Vince McMahon is a liar. Stone Cold wouldn't
turn his back on any of them, what? Austin told them to knock that stupid look
off of their faces as DDP had a huge smile on his face. Austin told them that
they make him sick, and he went on his way!

Backstage:
Stone Cold and Debra were shown. Austin told Debra that he can't believe it. The
Alliance members were looking at him like he's a piece of trash. They don't
trust him, but the fact of the matter is, if it weren't for Stone Cold, they
wouldn't have a job. Shane showed up, and he saw it. Austin told Shane that the
Alliance members looked at him like a piece of trash, and like they don't trust
him. Shane looked at Austin the same way, and Austin asked Shane if he trusts
him, and Shane said that he trusts Austin, what he's saying is that Vince is a
liar. Does he think Austin is jumping ship? No, but there's always a little
shred of truth in what Vince says. He thinks that one member of the Alliance is
going to jump ship to the WWF at the Survivor Series, and Shane thinks he knows
who that is. Kurt Angle showed up, and Austin and Shane looked at Kurt, as if he
was going to jump back to the WWF.
Kurt asked why they were looking at him like that? Kurt said that he knows why.
They think he believes Vince! No way. He knows that Austin wouldn't jump. Kurt
asked for a favor. He has a match with the Undertaker, and he wants to see if
Austin has his back tonight. Austin told Kurt that he gave him the Gold Medals
back, and he also gave him a hat. Where is it?! Kurt said that he just took it
off. Austin didn't seem to like it, and Kurt said that he'll wear it to the ring
if he wants him to, but he wants to know if he has his back. Austin said that
he's been doing favors for Kurt since he's known him, and he'll do one more.
He's got his back. Shane looked at Kurt weird and Kurt left and said he'll see
Austin out there. After Kurt left, Austin and Shane looked at each other,
wondering.
