Southern Dutchess Horsemen's Association

Our club was formed in 1981. It is located at Stormville Airport, Stormville,NY. SDHA was started to provide local horsemen, especailly their children, with a healthy, fun and safe place to take their horses for riding and showing.

We offer monthly meetings (3rd Tuesday of each month) where we plan our yearly calendar of show dates, encourage member input and suggestions. We invite guest speakers on various equine topics and stimulate members to meet new equine enthusiasts.

Our yearly shows include a Gymkhana Circuit and an Open Western Pleasure Show. We also have wonderful trail rides and even some overrnighters. We promote various clinics and seminars to help educate our membership and youth. At the end of the year we have an Awards Banquet to acknowledge the Championship & Reserve Championship of all Divisions and their sponsors.

Our events for the year are listed in this website under "Up-Coming Events".

For meeting locations call:Vera Toth: (845) 297-0028 or Pat Gardner: (845) 297-9770
